What can reiki treat?

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that focuses on balancing the body's energy through the use of gentle touch, with hands placed either directly on the recipients body, or raised slightly above it. The practitioner uses their hands to channel universal energy, or "Ki," to the recipient in order to promote healing and balance. This can be done in person or remotely, making it accessible to all.

Reiki is suitable for people of all ages and can be used to treat a wide range of conditions It is a complementary therapy and should be used alongside traditional medical treatments, where necessary, to enhance their effectiveness. Reiki is also a holistic healing therapy and works on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level to find the root cause of the issue, thereby helping to balance a recipients mind, body and spirit. Whilst not an exhaustive list Reiki has been known to help with: Physical issues such as pain, a variety of injuries, post-surgery soreness and chemotherapy side effects and the side effects from other medicines. Emotional issues such as anxiety, stress, depression and grief; sleep problems; the release of old emotional wounds and past traumas, addiction and mental illness; energising and detoxifying the body and improving overall health; and improving concentration and mental clarity

One of the unique aspects of Reiki is that it is a non-invasive treatment. The recipient simply lies down on a treatment couch and relaxes while the practitioner works, making it an ideal treatment for those who are sensitive to touch or have physical limitations. Reiki is also considered a safe and effective method for promoting overall well-being. It can help to reduce stress, promote relaxation and support the body's natural healing abilities. This can lead to a greater sense of balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit.
